Cultural Maturity Level
Every culture has Cultural Maturity Levels that are calculated based on behaviors. Let’s break this down!
We classify Cultural Maturity Levels using a pyramid with five layers, which are (starting from the base):
Survival >> Disengaged: Employees are counting the hours until they can leave. People work out of financial necessity and are constantly seeking new opportunities.
Safety >> Not Engaged: People do not enjoy the work they do but stay with the company for security and comfort.
Belonging >> Almost Engaged: People feel like they are part of something but constantly question whether their work is meaningful.
Importance >> Engaged: People feel their work is relevant and see themselves as part of the business. There is a sense of accomplishment.
Self-Realization >> Highly Engaged: People love what they do and seek to inspire others, always thinking, "What else can I do?" "How can I impact others?"
Each behavior is classified within one of the five levels mentioned above. The behaviors present in a group or account form their proportion and determine their classification within the Cultural Maturity Level.
How is the classification of the Maturity Level of each behavior carried out? TeamCulture conducts surveys where employees are asked the following question: "If you were experiencing this behavior daily in your work, how would you rate its impact on your engagement? From 1-5, with 1 being very disengaged and 5 being highly engaged." For example, working with people who trust others, i.e., "trust," is rated as extremely important for engagement, according to the survey. In other words, people rated it at level 5.

Important: The icon below represents variation. It’s crucial to understand that the variation is always based on the current score compared to the period selected in the time filter. In other words, the variation changes as the time filter is adjusted.
