How to Create an Objective
An Objective represents what we aim to achieve. It should be inspiring, challenging, and aligned with the company's strategy. An Objective isn't measurable on its own; for that, we use Key Results, which show us how we'll know if we're achieving the Objective.
Creating an Objective on the Platform
πStep-by-Step Guide to Creating an Objective
1οΈβ£ Select the cycle in the upper-right corner of the screen to view your desired work period.
2οΈβ£ Click "+ Add new" and select "Add Objective."
3οΈβ£ Fill in the following information:
π What's the Difference Between Strategic and Tactical Objectives?
- Strategic Objective: Long-term goals aligned with the company's vision.
- Example: Expand into new international markets.
- Tactical Objective: Operational goals that support strategic objectives.
- Example: Increase the number of leads in Brazil.
After filling in all the information, click "New Objective" and it will be created!
2. Editing an Objective
To edit an objective you've already created, follow these steps:
- In the OKR Tree, click on the objective or click the three dots and then "Detail" on the desired objective to open its details.
- Edit any information, except the category.
- Make the necessary adjustments and save your changes.

- Objective Hierarchy: Displays the entities directly linked to the objective, including the parent objective, if applicable.
- Key Results (KRs): Shows all KRs linked to the objective, allowing for a quick view of progress and the ability to define the entity's priority.
