Participation

Let's understand how the Participation Report works!

First, it's important to clarify the terms "Invited," "Confirmed," and "Respondents." Here's what they mean:

Invited: The number of people to whom you've sent an invitation to join the platform, including both those who have accepted the invitation and those who have not yet accepted it.
Confirmed: The number of people who have accepted your invitation and are now active on the platform.
Responders: The number of active users on the platform who are participating in the engagement surveys.

Important: When does someone become a "non-respondent"? It depends on your account settings. By default, a person is considered a "non-respondent" after missing 2 surveys. However, you can adjust the settings so that a person becomes a "non-respondent" after just 1 missed survey.

The % of Respondents from Invited is calculated based on the number of people invited and those who are responding to the engagement surveys. The formula is:

% of Respondents from Invited = (Respondents x 100) / Invited.

The % of Respondents from Confirmed is calculated based on the number of people who have accepted the invitation to join the platform (i.e., those who are confirmed) and those who are responding to the engagement surveys. The formula is:

% of Respondents from Confirmed = (Respondents x 100) / Confirmed.

Finally, let's go over how to navigate the graphs. The key lies in the icons below.

Here’s what each icon in the image does:

+ Symbol: Clicking this zooms in on the graph, providing more detail over time. For example, if you’re viewing by months, clicking this will shift the view to days.
- Symbol: Clicking this zooms out, showing less detail over time. If you’re viewing by days, clicking this will shift the view to months.
Magnifying Glass Symbol: Clicking this lets you select a specific area of the graph, allowing you to focus on a particular calendar period.
Hand Symbol: Clicking this lets you drag the graph to scroll through the history.
Home Symbol: Clicking this returns the graph to its default view.
Three Lines Symbol: Clicking this allows you to download the graph image.

Note: The information in the Participation Report is updated in real-time.
